Overview

Tab Folder helps you manage browser tabs as a hierarchical tree. This extension processes everything locally in your browser.

Data Collection

We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. No data is sent to our servers or third parties.

On-device Processing & Storage

• Tab information (IDs, title, URL) is used in-memory to build the tree.
• Settings and snapshots are stored locally via browser.storage to allow recovery.
• You can clear this data by removing the extension or clearing the extension’s storage.

Permissions Usage

• tabs — read basic tab metadata to build/maintain the tree. No page content is read.
• storage — persist settings and snapshots locally.
• (optional) scripting/activeTab/sidePanel/downloads — only used to deliver stated features (e.g., rename title sync / UI entry points / export snapshot). No data leaves your device.

Sharing & Analytics

No data is shared with third parties. No analytics or tracking.

Children’s Privacy

This extension is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information.
